The 2016 Annual Membership Meeting will be held Saturday, November 19th from 3-5pm at the Valley Library in the Conference Room. All members are invited. The meeting will include an annual budget report, a year in review report from the director of the Juneau Public Libraries, discussion of goals and objectives for the coming year and election of board members. Refreshments will be provided. A slate of board candidates will follow shortly. It is anticipated that are looking to fill at least 3 seats including two officers (Vice President, Treasurer). Any member interested in serving on the board is invited to send their name and brief bio to firstname.lastname@example.org by November 5th.
The board also took action at it’s September 2016 meeting to move to regularly scheduled quarterly meetings in 2017 to be held on the 2nd Thursdays of February (9th), May (11th) and September (14th) with the annual meeting to be held in November (2nd Saturday).
