Pick, Click, Give to the Friends of Juneau Public Libraries

It's time to apply for your PFD!

You can support the Juneau Public Libraries by donating to the Friends of Juneau Public Libraries via Pick Click Give. The Friends provide annual funding for adult and youth programs, furnishings, and pilot programs for new collections and services. The children’s summer reading program, author visits and speaker stipends, the annual bookmark contest, film,showings, game nights, and family nights are all funded by the Friends. The Friends provided one million dollars toward construction of the Mendenhall Valley Public Library, and funded the first collections of DVDs, video games, and graphic novels. As furnishings are damaged or wear out, the Friends fund repair or replacement.

While applying for your PFD online, you can choose to Pick Click Give in increments of $25. All donations are tax deductible and donors will receive tax documentation from the State once their donations have been processed. Permanent Fund Dividend applications are available from January 1 to March 31, though Alaskans may choose to add or adjust their pledges online through August 31.
